Hello! My name is Gabriella Febriana. You can call me Ella. I’m an early stage medical scientist. I got a BSc in Microbiology from Bandung Institute of Technology in 2010, and a Masters of Research (MRes) in Immunobiology from Newcastle University (England) in 2012. Following the completion of my Masters studies, I went back to Indonesia working as a research assistant for some times before taking up a job as a Lecturer for Biomedicine study program in a newly-established life science institute in Jakarta. Currently I am back in Europe, pursuing a Doctoral degree in Biomedical science at Universitat Duisburg-Essen Germany for the next 3 years.
Playing piano is my passion ever since I was a kid. So, don’t ever let me choose between science and piano because it’s gonna be really hard for me. Singing in a choir, particularly in church choirs, is my commitment in using my talent to glorify HIM.
I’m writing because I don’t want to forget all of those priceless moments that have happened in my life.
My biggest dream is to be a professional world-known scientist. My second biggest dream is to travel around the world and make friends with people from different cultural backgrounds.
I love learning foreign languages. I’m also a big fan of good quotes. Basically, I’m falling in love with words.
