Fun & A Little Bit Exhausting

What I’m gonna talk about is my holiday. It was fun and a litle bit exhausting, like I’ve stated above. I went to Turkey last week and I’ve just arrived in Jakarta today. I really feel grateful and thankful to God because I can travel abroad again this year.  Actually I must have had arrived back in Jakarta yesterday but the 15 hours delayed flight ruined everything.

I went there with my  big family, including my aunts and uncle (8 of us). There, we visited some cities which was sooo far one from another. We visited Istanbul, Cannakale, Pamukkale, and Cappadoccia. I’ll tell more about those cities on the next post plus I’ll posted some pictures of my holiday. So, just keep on waiting guys. Today I’ll edited the pictures.

Just like my previous holidays, this year I also went to Turkey with a tour. One thing that I didn’t really like about this tour is some people are just too responsive (in a bad way of course). I didn’t like their behaviours. But overall I enjoyed this trip. I tried not to care about their behaviour. 🙂

And just fyi, I found a very handsome French guy there. OMG, he’s really handsome. Unfortunately I couldn’t take a picture of him, I was very shame because he sat right in front of me when I had lunch in a restaurant somewhere in Turkey. I heard he spoke in French and wow I love his accent. Il est tres beau. Wakakak..:DD

And yeah, I didn’t like Turkish foods. Some of them are too sweet and some are too salty but most of them are tasteless. I just love the kebap. Turkish people also are not so nice because they aware about their handsomeness (yeah!) and they think they can easily make women fall for them (yucks!) No offense..that’s just my thought, guys!

I think that’s enough

Later, guys!

Holiday Part II

As I’ve told you before, I will tell you my holiday story and also I wanna post some photos here. On Wednesday after giving my vote for the presidential election, I went to Bandung. Yup, that was my second holiday. This Bandung holiday for me was more adventurous than my previous holiday to Ancol. And I really like when I have to go to Bandung for holiday because for me, every time I hear Bandung it reminds me with campus things. Hehe..yeah I’m studying in Bandung actually. I went to Bandung with my family.  Though we only visited 3 tourism objects, we had a lot of fun. Here is the photos.

This is Tangkuban Parahu crater, for those of you who haven’t known. I always like this place because the view is adorable. This place is located in Lembang. This crater was created after there was a volcanic eruption, but traditional people often relating this crater with the famous Sundanese traditional urban legend, Sangkuriang. I’ve heard the story before but now I can’t remember it. Haha..

And this is White Crater (Kawah Putih), Ciwidey. It is located in the south of Bandung about 3 hours driving from the city center of Bandung. You know, the view here is soooooooo amazing. I’ve never bored with this place. The first time I went here was like a year ago in 2008 with my campus friends for the microbial ecology field trip.  This place is really a heaven if you are a narsistic person. Hahaha..this is a good spot to take a photograpg. The weather there also very chillin.

I also went to Ciater, but I forget where did I keep the photograph. Hehe..so sorry that I can’t put it here. So, the holiday has been ended for my brothers, but not for me. I still have 1 month left. Yeey..I wanna enjoy this remaining holiday. Oya, I’ve finished my internship report. Oh, thanks God. Finally I can finish it.

Okay, this is it. I hope you enjoy reading this blog’s post.

See you later!

Liburan Part 1

Hehe..Tapi beneran makanannya enak banget. So, sebenarnya worth it sih dengan harga segitu.

ella_ancol3

Tapi, sekarang pantai Ancol tuh kotor banget. Sayang ya. Padahal kalau dirapihin dikit pasti keren lho.

Yaak cuma gitu doang sih liburan saya. Tapi, seperti judul post saya kali ini, Liburan Part 1, saya bakal liburan lagi minggu depan. Yeeyy!! Kata bapak saya, minggu depan kita bakal ke Bandung katanya mau ke Kawah Putih. Buat keluarga saya sih liburan beneran..tapi buat saya mah kayak gak liburan. Ke Bandung, gitu. Kota tempat saya menuntut ilmu (cuih!) Tapi nggak papa, lah.

Oiya fyi, KP saya udah selesai lho. 1 bulan tuh benar-benar gak kerasa ya? Tapi, saya masih harus menyelesaikan laporan KP nih. Mudah-mudahan cepat selesai.

See you, folks!

Kuliah Kunjungan Mikrobiologi 2006

Hallo semuanya!!

Hari ke-1 (18 Januari 2009)

Kita kumpul di kebab (labtek biru tercinta) jam 12 siang. Ngecek logistik, makan siang, presensi. Yah, standar lah. Terus, sebelum mobilisasi ke gerbang depan ITB, kita foto-foto dulu dong di depan kebab.

013

Yaak..inilah wajah makhluk mikrobiologi 2006.

015

Lanjut…di dalam bus kita tetap menggila. Foto-foto tanpa henti. Niatnya mau candid, eh ternyata pada sadar kamera semua. Hahaha..dasar!

035

Ya, beginilah jadinya kalau suatu jurusan dihuni oleh sebagian besar kaum perempuan. Seneng foto-foto. Narsis forever!

Hari ke-2 (19 Januari 2009)

Malam sebelumnya, kami semua tidur di bus. Kami sarapan di daerah Gempol. Makanannya lumayan enak dan harganya sangaaaattt murah. Semangkuk soto ayam dengan nasi putih plus teh manis panas hanya 11 ribu. Gak maksud promosi lho! Hahaha..

040

Terus, kita makan siang di Pasir Putih, Situbondo.

051

Oiya, intermezzo sedikit yaa.. Salah satu pemilik perusahaan ini ganteng banget lho. Hahaha..masih muda, lagi.

Yeah, itung-itung liburan.

New Year’s Holiday

As I’ve promised you before, today I’ll tell you about my new years’s celebration. Okay..I know it’s kinda toooooo late to speak about new year.

So, I celebrated the new year’s eve at Singapore. I went there with my family and my aunties. We departed on December 30th. On that day, we went to the airport at 4 in the morning to catch the plane that departed at 6. I was still sooo sleepy. The journey to Batam only took about an hour. Yeah, we didn’t fly directly to S’pore because actually it could cut off the cost. At about 7 am we had arrived in Hang Nadim Airport in Batam. There, a driver from my mom’s branch office had fetched us and brought us the Batam Centre Harbour. Then, we continued our journey to Singapore by Ferry. It took only 30 minutes to Singapore from Batam. As we arrived in Singapore, the first thing we did was searching for the nearest MRT station. We didn’t want to take taxi because we’d known that taxi in S’pore was very expensive.

Our hotel actually was located near Sommerset MRT station, but we stopped at Dhoby Ghaut. The distance from that station to our hotel was rather far. You know, the weather in S’pore was so hot. We had to walk for about 1 km with luggage in our hands to reach the hotel. Can you imagine how we feel? Really exhausted. When we finally arrived at the hotel, we had just realized that the hotel was far from Orchard. Oh, My. We had to take another MRT to Orchard if you didn’t want to take a walk for few kms. But, the advantage was it was located near Plaza Singapura. Wow, I like it!

Day 1-December 30th 2008

Me and my brother in front of a huge christmas tree at Suntec City Mall

On the first day we went to Suntec City in the afternoon to take a duck tour. At the beginning I was very curious about this kind of  tour. What was that?Actually, this is just a kind of city sightseeing tour. We saw the Merlion statue which is the symbol of Singapore, the Esplanade Theater (the best theater in S’pore or maybe in South East Asia), and the floating theater that is located in Marina Bay.

The statue of Merlion at Marina Bay

We also saw the Raffles Hotel that is the oldest hotel in S’pore and also the most expensive hotel there. I thought it was a quite interesting tour. After that, we went back to Orchard and did some shopping till night. Only window shopping, because the price was so not affordable. Hahahaha!!!

Day 2- December 31st, 2008

We did some shopping again today. Since I didn’t really like shopping, today I went to Borders Bookstore in Wheelock’s Place with my bro. There, I bought the ‘Three Cups of Tea’ novel. The price was quite cheaper than in Jakarta. After that, I also went to Yamaha music store in Plaza Singapura with my Dad. I bought some books for my piano exams. I bought ‘Sight reading Grade 7’ and ‘Scale and Arpeggio Grade 7’. Wow, the collection in that Yamaha store was very complete. I also bought a classical pieces collection book. Hmmm..there I found Claire de Lune piano partitur in easy version. Weww!! On the evening we went to Singapore Zoo to take a Safari Night tour.

with my mom

with my mom

This was very exciting. I really like it. We were at that zoo until 10 pm and then went back to the hotel.

After that me, my mom, and my aunties went around the Orchard Road and wait until the new year’s eve. I really desperate because there weren’t any celebration in Orchard. So after 12 o’clock, we just went back to the hotel, bought Starbucks and took a sleep. A really unmemorable new year’s eve. Heheheu!! We had just known that the new year’s eve celebration in S’pore was concentrated in Marina Bay. There were some fireworks and unfortunately we didn’t go there. Kyaaa!!

 Day 3- January 1st 2009

My mom still busy in shopping. I had been so tired so this day I just stay at the hotel. In the afternoon I  went to Starbucks near hotel with my brothers and my dad. We were waiting there until my mom finish shopping. In the evening we went to the harbour to take a Ferry to Batam. We arrived at Batam at about 6 pm and directly went to the hotel which was located in Nagoya, the well known business district in Batam. At night, before dinner, we went to a handphone counter there. We had known that the electronic price in Batam was much cheaper than in Jakarta. Since it was January 1st, we found that most of the shops were closed. Hehehe

Day 4-January 2nd 2009

Still searching for some electronic equipment in Batam. Finally, my youngest bro got a new PSP and me? I got a new camera. Yeeeyyyy…finally I have my own camera. Thanks Daaaaddd!!!! At noon, we went to the Airport and left for Jakarta. Huaaa..goodbye holiday!! Hello, routinities!!

On the next Sunday I went back to Bandung and start the final exam again and finally it was already over yesterday. I don’t wanna talk about it. Actually I’m so disappointed with the results.
