“You don’t find love. It finds you. It’s got a little bit to do with destiny, fate, and what’s written in the stars.” -Anais Nin
We’ve been this close for a while. And everything seems so effortless for me. I’m so glad that you came again to my life out of a sudden. You came to my life when I was trying to recover from a major heartache. I denied this feeling of mine at the beginning and tried to find some reasons to not letting you enter my life. The more I tried, the more I failed to find those reasons.
Thank you for always making efforts for me, in the middle of your tight schedule. Still remember that Saturday in June when you attended my choir concert after staying for a night shift followed by a morning shift at the hospital. I know how tired you were by looking at your face. Sometimes I feel that you’re too good for me. But then I realise maybe you’re a gift from God. I’m grateful.
I don’t want to label what’s going on between us right now. Cause such label will just give pressure for us. We’re there for each other. We pray for each other in silence. We support each other, for sure. We’re this close but we still give spaces for each other to grow.
We never know what the future holds indeed, but if we’re meant to be together, I believe we’ll be.
Take care, Doc! I won’t leave you anymore. Though one day I might leave you for a while, well, you already have my heart at least.
